Bristol Eastern High School in Bristol, CT
is looking for a new wrestling coach. It is a pretty good
coaching position for anyone who is interested. They are looking
to fill three positions, Varsity, JV and Freshman - all paid
positions. I don't know the rate of pay, but I know that all
coaches in the Bristol School System are paid well relative to
the other districts. $5000 - $6000 to start. Bristol
Eastern is a perennial Top 10 team in CT. They usually average
50 kids on the team. There is also a strong youth club as a
feeder program. They are returning multiple placewinners from
last year and will be competitive again. THIS IS NOT A
"REBUILDING" SITUATION. Being a head coach in this situation is
great - taking over an established program, with 2 paid
assistants, with numerous returning place winners and a feeder
program.

Benham, is: Email:

Tom Pavia is seeking a teaching & head
coach position in Section 11.
I am certified
in PhysEd and have vast experience with disciplinary roles in
several of the schools I've worked in. I am willing to pursue
other certifications to fulfill a needed role/opportunity in the
school system that see's me as a potential hire.
I am currently the head wrestling coach at Polytech HS in
Woodside, DE. We currently have 4 kids ranked in the top 4 of
the State with all of them being members of the prestigious TEAM
DELAWARE which competes at the National level in Fargo, ND;
Florida - Disney Duals and New Orleans - AAU Nationals. My
coaching experience is vast and includes Freestyle and
Greco-Roman as well. My coaching experience includes 5 years as
an assistant coach at the (College) Division I level. As a head

currently for Lock Haven & Bloomsburg University(s). Our teams
were Conference Champions, Regional Champions and State Dual
Meet Finalists. As a wrestler and proud graduate of William
Floyd HS I wrestled 3 years (1 out due to injury) and was a
League Runner-up. My weight class had one of Long Islands best
ever wrestlers in Pete Yozzo. I was 2nd in New York State's
Freestyle Championships (Summer) and went on to compete for the
All-Air Force Team as an active duty member of the Armed Forces.
I was an AAU National Champion in Freestyle and 3rd in
Greco-Roman in 1994.
I have a passion for the sport of wrestling and impacting young
people that continues to burn brightly. If anyone is interested
in "passing the torch," and handing their program over to
someone who is capable and has a proven track record or there is
an available opening for a Head Wrestling Coach - please contact
