John Gaglione's Power Series Wrestling
Training # 55
Wrestler-Power Series #55 Kneeling Box Jump
Kneeling Box Jump
Movement Category:
Lower Body Power
Athletic Benefits: The
kneeling jump is one of the best box jump variations an athlete can
perform. It will train both starting strength and reactive ability. The
athlete must be able to produce a large amount of force in order to get
from a kneeling position to a standing position and then be able to react
quickly to jump on the box. This is a great exercise for anyone who needs
to be quick off of a whistle start.
