Athletic Benefits: The bench
press is one of the best ways to develop size and strength in the upper
body. The reverse band bench takes some load of the bottom range of motion
of the bench press making it a more shoulder friendly exercise. The bands
will let go at the end range of motion allowing the lifter to still get
some heavy pressing work in without stressing the shoulders too much.
