Single Leg Deadlift

Movement Category: Unilateral Hip Dominant

Athletic Benefits:  The single leg deadlift is the best exercise for developing hip stability and overall balance. This exercise is also amazing for helping reduce the number of ankle injuries on the field. The athlete must use the muscles in the feet and in the core to help stabilize the lower leg as well as the pelvis. This is a great strength exercise for glute and hamstrings that really challenges the core and help prevents a ton of injuries.
