Rope Climbing

Movement Category: Upper Body Pull

Athletic Benefits:  Rope climbing is one of the best overall exercises for grip and upper body pulling power. Many combat sports require continuous grabbing of an opponent or an opponent clothing and the athletes need to be powerful during the entire match. Rope climbing will develop the pulling strength and grip endurance necessary in these bouts.
