Giant Cambered Bar versus Chains

Movement Category: Bilateral Knee Dominant

Athletic Benefits:  The unique design GCB take stress off the shoulders, while working the mid back harder than a normal squat. The chains are a form of accommodating resistance meaning that as the weight is lifted the weight gets heavier as the athlete gains a mechanical advantage. This accommodates for the strength curve and helps build explosive strength since the athletes must accelerate through the lift in order to complete the repetition.
