John Gaglione's Power Series Wrestling Training # 15

Wrestler-Power Series #15 Trap Bar Deadlift

Trap Bar Deadlift versus chains Movement Category: Bilateral Hybrid Hip/Knee Dominant Athletic Benefits: The trap bar deadlift is a great way to introduce leg training to beginning lifters and is also a viable option for in season training. This variation is much easier on spine since the lifter can set up in the middle of the trap bar keep the weight closer to the center of gravity. Adding chains will overload the top portion of the exercise building starting power and grip strength.
