RE: NWCA New York State Nominations
As a state representative, I am responsible for naming a state head and assistant coach of the year along with a wrestler of the year from our state.
Once a name for head and assistant coach of the year and wrestler of the year are fill out on the attached forms I can submit our representation for regional recognition. Regional winners for 2007-08 will be recognized at the 2009 NCAA Championships and also will be considered for national awards. Last Season the “Coach of the Year Winner” was Mr. Bill Jacoutot of Spencerport High School, Bill will be recognized this year at the NCAA pre-championship dinner on March 19 at the Hard Rock Café’ in St. Louis. Dale Oliver of Canandaigua was named the “New York State Assistant Coach of the Year” and Corey Jantzen was named the NWCA “Wrestler of the Year”.
